You were brighter than most things

Or at least that’s what I thought 

That’s what I could see 

You shined and glistened 

Every time I walked by you

It was like there was a smile on your face 

A smile that could light up a whole room

A whole room full of sad people 

Sad people like me which would later be happy 

All because of one human being 

That human being which was you

Who made me feel left out of the blue 

Brighter than the whole moon 

My feelings evaporated up into the atmospheric pressure

From the whole world above us 

Beneath the inner corner between your eyes 

It was like the stars exploded up into the sky 

A shooting star that felt so bright 

Everyone wished on it for something in their life 

But I know for certain my wish came true 

Once I met you
