Avan Jogia is a 27 year old biracial actor who is well known for his role as Beck on Nickelodeon’s “Victorious.” He released his first book “Mixed Feelings” on September 17, 2019. The book is a collection of personal stories and poems all focusing on the experiences of people of mixed race. He touches on subjects such as politics, family, and inclusion. Jogia originally intended on writing a series of poems based off of personal experiences. He later decided a larger mass of people across the world could benefit from a variety of perspectives within his book. He later proceeded to include broader and more controversial topics in his writing, resulting in an inspirational collection of poetry.

Gabriella Wilson, better known as H.E.R, is a grammy award winning R&B music artist.The creative artist is half filipino and half African-American and strongly identifies with both sides of her race. She frequently collaborates with other musicians such as Daniel Caesar who are fellow advocates for people of color. For several years, Wilson kept her identity a secret. She felt that her music should be heard organically and felt that she should allow it to speak for itself.

The show “Euphoria” showcases teens struggling with mental health issues, substance abuse, and surviving high school. In the starring role, mixed actress Zendaya portrays 17 year old Rue Bennett who has just returned from rehab the summer before junior year. The storyline follows rue along her path as a drug addict while also exploring the personal and chaotic lives of her peers. The. development of this show continues to impact various teens and adults around the world. Each episode does not hesitate to shy away from tackling complex, real social problems.

Golf Wang is an American clothing brand established in 2011 by multiracial musician Tyler The Creator. The brand is well known for its fluorescent and controversial designs. The brand includes items varying in colorful array of vibrant socks, shoes, shirts, hoodies and crewnecks, hats, and more. Tyler has mentioned before how he prefers not to discuss race. He is an advocate for appreciating music for its substance without being concerned about a person's skin color or personal background.
